Universe Observatory Hellendoorn
The Hellendoorn Observatory is located in the Buitencentrum of the beautiful Sallandse Heuvelrug nature reserve. Because it is so dark here, you can see up to two hundred stars with the naked eye. In the dome, two telescopes and a solar telescope are ready to view the beautiful starry sky. Every Friday evening there is a public stargazing evening. The observatory is also open on Saturday afternoon and visitors can view the sun through the solar telescope. In the Planetarium, visitors go on a journey through space.
